News and Notes

A little of this and a little of that from your friends and Deluxe Interactive Services, LLC…

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity for Jean and myself, so very much so that there hasn’t been a minute to sit down and document a word of it. Without any further ado, here is a¬†quick roundup of what has been going on in our world:

We are proud to announce that Jean has made the leap and is now full-time with Deluxe! As of June 1, Jean began living her dream by working full-time at Deluxe following eight years of full-time work with EBSCO Industries and part-time work handling the design work for our clients. It is a big leap for Jean, and we are so happy about it, we could just bust!

In other business news, Deluxe filed for LLC status. We have been a sole proprietorship ever since we began working together five years ago as Kitchen Sink Creative Group. But as of June 1, we are now officially Deluxe Interactive Services, LLC.

On the web front, we have been tweaking some things here and there on the site. We believe that a website is not something you put up on the web and forget about, and we are practicing what we preach. We’ve made changes to make our site more readable, we updated our Portfolio page (I think it is much nicer now, thanks to Jean’s work), we added a Testimonials page, and we did some more tinkering here and there on the back end. I believe it is a better, more readable site, and you can look for even more improvements and additions in the future.

Last, but certainly not least, if you aren’t following Deluxe on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest (don’t freak out when you see my picture on the Pinterest link, it’s still all about Deluxe), now would be a great time to start. We are sharing links regularly, usually related to web design, graphic design, marketing, and small business. We do our best to find material to share that we think people will enjoy reading and which will have an application to their business/web lives. Check us out!
