Insurance

Many insurance companies no longer require a co-payment on a yearly/wellness visits to your doctor. Please check with your insurance company to see if you have this benefit. When you check in with our receptionists please let her know of your benefit. This will help us avoid collecting a copay if you don’t owe one. Please be aware that if you have problems to address with your physician at the time of your yearly appointment, we will be glad to address and treat any problems you may have, but your insurance company may determine that the visit does not meet the definition of a wellness visit and charge you your copay.

At Henderson & Walton Women’s Center we participate in many managed care plans and see patients with traditional insurance. See the detailed list of plans below for your reference. Many plans require that you make a copayment at the time of your visit. To make it as easy as possible for you, we accept cash, checks and most major credit cards at our offices. Some insurance plans may require that you get authorization from them before you visit us. Since this differs by plan, please check with your insurance company so you can receive complete benefits from your coverage. We also have trained, in-house specialists who can answer many of your insurance questions.
