Dr. Carol Swindle grew up in Jasper, Alabama and attended the University of Alabama. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in English and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine where she held the Claude E. Dorsey Scholarship. She completed her residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Swindle is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN. She is a member of numerous local and state medical societies. She is active on staff at St. Vincent’s and serves on several hospital committees. She is also the Medical Director of Henderson & Walton.
She has two children, Andrew and Sarah Frances. She is active in her church and enjoys reading, cooking and traveling with her extended family.
